Masterplan & Design

'A Cambodian resort that works with, not against, its environment.'

A 19-hectare masterplan for a self-sufficient Tropical Wellness Resort in Kampot, Cambodia. The masterplan allows for 200 villas, 2 lakes, a beach, 200 apartments, a hotel, restaurants, a clubhouse and pavilions for spa and yoga retreats. As the climate of Kampot is one of the wettest and most humid in the world we are carefully designing buildings that turn these conditions into positive, human comfort strategies. We are also planting bamboo on the site that will be harvested in 3 years' time and used in the construction process of the villas. These will be adaptive with access to pools and biodiversity with shaded terraces and walls to encourage movement of air. Around the perimeter of the site, is a Tropical Promenade and Lagoon, where guests can enjoy the landscape and views across the beautiful mountains.
